OPP-2 is a conventional, efficient and very light and patented open propeller thruster specifically designed for propelling tracked and wheeled armored vehicles. The sophisticated propeller, which is optimized as per vehicles’ hydrodynamic characteristics, is driven by a hydraulic motor that is directly connected to the propeller shaft made out of steel. The hydraulic motor is external to the assembly and is simple to dismantle from the bulb which is fixed to the vehicle by a hydrodynamic strut.
